Objectives
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 2nd ERA-EDTA Course in France on March 21rst 2008, to be held in Marseille at the Pharo International Convention Centre (TBD).
This will be the first ERA-EDTA Course to be held in Marseille. Its immense versatility and its architectural beauty make it a perfect venue for the specific needs of the Congress, and the Forum Building within the complex is a unique piece of architecture that is an emblem of today's Marseille.
The Scientific Committee has taken great care to prepare a high-quality and varied programme that will incorporate the latest developments and ideas in basic science, transitional and clinical science, to be presented in the form of lectures.
The aims of ERA-EDTA CME COURSE are to :
- provide to participant an update related to a pivotal question in renal disease field (cardiovascular risk in CRF patients)
- gather the key opinion leaders concerning the complex link between Kidney and Heart
- give the opportunity to participant to share experience between nephrologists from different european countries.

During this congress we will mainly discuss on the controversies, recent advances and last recommendations given by international invited speakers.
During your stay, don't miss the most emblematic church, nor the Art modern museum. You may also like to venture further a field, to the many wonderful historic places to be found in other parts of French riviera.
